We hear them a lot around here too. Sometimes it's annoying on a Saturday to wake up because of them, but we try to keep the window shut on the weekends so we don't hear them as much. Thank goodness for air-conditioning or we wouldn't survive!
Is that the bird that I thought sounded like a dog? Yeah that would get annoying. Gym tomorrow?
