1. Thanks for not holding me in the headlock for too long after showing this picture on the powerpoint to the whole church on Sunday.
2. For being careful with your words around my children.
After I shared my diet coke from Arby's with Ethan yesterday, he proceeded to ask me "Um, Mom. Do you have any coke that doesn't taste like crap? Do you remember when Uncle said that yesterday at the resturant?"!
Yes, I remember.
On another random note, I have come to the realization that I am too busy. So much so that I feel very disconnected from people. It feels like an unrewarding busy. It's the kind of busy where after all is said and done you don't feel any better as a person, wife, mom, or employee. Fred quoted someone on Sunday saying "If the devil can't make you sin big, he'll just make you busy.". This hit me hard tonight as I was looking at the blogs and I learned that a person that I work with every day just bought a house - a pretty significant purchase. AND I WORK WITH HER!
I need balance.....
and maybe some chips.

Hey chicky, long time no update. Yes, life can get the best of you sometimes. At times it seems like you blink, and so much has changed around you.
I totally remember that picture of Chris and Darrin. It was at Robbie and Neslon's wedding. The whole family (the Whitbread's) looked like complete dorks!
