Twas the day after Christmas

and all through the house

ran a hyper little 5 year old

shouting "Let's trap that mouse!"!

For those of you that are familiar with the game Mouse Trap, you'll know the excitement that I am talking about, especially when a little 5 year old boy is involved.

Be prepared to play if you come over.

Also, be prepared to lose.

The drive home

The drive home from pre-school is always interesting. Ethan tells us stories about the day and pretty well sings the whole way home.
Today was different.
Silence.
Silence.
Silence.
Then....

"Mom, you know that you and dad are on the naughty list, don't you?"

To which I replied, "Is that right? How come?"

"'cause daddy said "Shut-up" when I was little 4 and you speed!"

More silence.
