This has been a great holiday so far. Darrin was given an assistant principal job just before leaving for holidays which started everything off on a good note.
Even though it rained for 3 days in Penticton, we had a great time - beach days, vineyard tours, lobster boils and Settlers (Karri won again and didn't know it!).
We are now resting at Linwood House in Robert's Creek, B.C. I would encourage you all to look it up (linwoodhouseministries.org) or take a peak on my facebook groups (if you are a facebook friend, of course). These people live the passion that people write about. It is infectious and inspiring. They exude Christ's love in every aspect of their living in a very humble and practical way.
I also purchased a new camera and love it. I've included some of my favorites.
Enjoy!
There is a saying here on the wall that I find to be very powerful and epitomizes the feeling here. I hope you find inspiration from it as well.
"May God break my heart so completely that the whole world falls in." Mother Theresa

What a beautiful place! Hopefully it didn't rain for you the whole time. Call us when you get back.
That was a beautiful post Joy. Thanks for sharing your passion and iginiting it in others. We all need that from time to time. If I ever make it to the other end of Canada, I'll check that place out - sounds awesome!
